Riverboat Dinner Cruise
When: March 1st
Where: Lantern Queen in Havre De Grace

Don't miss this fun event. It's a perfect opportunity to invite your friends along to enjoy an evening out on the water. Cruise and dine on a buffet which will include a salad, choice of two entrees, two vegetables and assortment of desserts. The open bar will offer beer and wine, and cash bar for mixed drinks. The price is $56 per person including tax. Please make checks out to NERYC and send office by Feb 1st. This is a private charter and only NERYC members and guests will be on board.

Shakedown Cruise 
When: April 25 thru 27th
Where: Chesapeake City Basin & Chesapeake Inn,  C& D Canal


We will begin our season with a Shakedown Cruise to Chesapeake City basin where slips are available as well as anchorage area. For early arrivals, bulkhead space is available from Chesapeake City Town Hall at a minimal fee if you’re lucky enough to arrive early. The Chesapeake Inn has floating docks for those who prefer a slip for the night. The Chesapeake Inn Restaurant & Marina is located on the waterfront in Chesapeake City, MD. Their restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the Back Creek Basin, C&D Canal and historic Chesapeake City. Whether you choose to have lunch or dinner, you can enjoy a delicious meal inside or out. The 65-slip Marina is available for transient boaters stopping by for dinner, overnight stays or seasonal rentals. They have 24-hour shower and restroom facilities and a Bed & Breakfast.

Memorial Day Weekend
When: May 23 thru 26th

Baltimore's Inner Harbor has always been a favorite destination so this year it is no surprise that it is back on the itinerary. Although we have a preliminary reservation for 18 slips, skippers are advised to contact the marina and provide credit card details to confirm their spot.

Directions By Boat: Patapsco River, pass under the Key Bridge, leave Ft. McHenry to port. Baltimore Marine Center will be on your starboard at 39º 16.54'N. 76º 34.84'W

Queen of the Chesapeake Pageant*
When: June 1st 
Where: Maryland Yacht Club - Baltimore

LOOKING FOR A FUN WEEKEND? COME SUPPORT PRINCESS Kelly AT THE QUEEN OF THE CHESAPEAKE PAGEANT.  

On Sunday June 3rd, the Maryland Yacht Club will be hosting the annual Queen of the Chesapeake  Pageant.  Our lovely Princess Kelly will be representing our club and competing for this honor. On an average, 20 Princess’s from participating clubs, like NERYC, compete for the Crown and become a representative for the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club Association.  The Queen of the Chesapeake promotes the conservation and preservation of the Chesapeake Bay.  Candidates previously submitted a 100 word essay on the Chesapeake Bay.  During the pageant they deliver their essays and then are asked 3 questions by a panel of judges.  Five finalists are selected and then one at a time they are asked an addition question.  The Queen is announced. Pageant weekend at Maryland Yacht Club is always a fun weekend.  The club has a beautiful swimming pool and an awesome view of the Chesapeake.  In addition there are dances, cookouts and plenty of libations.  NERYC members are encouraged to attend either for the weekend or for the pageant.  If you are planning on taking your vessel to MYC please contact he Fleet Cpt ASAP (there are usually no slip fees But reservation is essential).

Independence Day Fireworks
When: July 3rd

Where: North of the club - Upper NE River


The July 4th marina party will coincide with North East fireworks with beverages available for Fleet Captain’s locker. The slip holders on “A” dock will have all members as guests for the event. Decorate your boats and yourself in RED, WHITE, & BLUE, and join us to view Northeast’s Firework display.

Mid-Summer Cruise 
When: July 11th thru 13th
Where: Baltimore Yacht Club - Middle River

The Mid Summer Cruise destination is an old favorite, Baltimore Yacht Club on Sue Island in the Middle River. This is one of the private yacht clubs with which NERYC has a special reciprocity arrangement. Slip fees are only $10 and the members are warm and welcoming.

Late-Summer Cruise 
When: August 1 thru 3rd
Where: Maryland Yacht Club - Baltimore
The Late Summer Cruise, will be to Middle River with marina location to be determined.  Middle river is home to a number of Yacht clubs and is picturesque location to visit.

Labor Day Weekend Cruise
When: Aug 29  thru Sept 1st 
Where: The Sailing Emporium - Rockhall
The Labor Day Weekend Cruise will be to The Sailing Emporium in Rock Hall. The marina and grounds are very picturesque, extremely clean and offer superb amenities. Please visit their website for full details. Note: Since this is a holiday weekend, please confirm your reservation ASAP.

Land Cruise* Annapolis Sail Boat Show
When: 9 thru 13th
Where: City Dock - Annapolis
 

Again, it's not on the official cruise calendar but why not get together. You choose your day/you choose your crowd and get on down to this event.

Frostbite Cruise

Where: Sassafras Harbor Marina - Georgetown

A Frostbite destination favorite, Sassafras Harbor located seven nautical miles up the Sassafras River on the North side before the Sassafras River Bridge.  They have a swimming pool, air-conditioned bathrooms, washer/dryer facilities, picnic/grilling areas, and an air-conditioned activities center, which has a game room with video games, pool tables and a ping-pong table.  The upstairs is an open room used as a lounge or can be rented out for private parties.  Cable TV is available in the upstairs rooms.
