The annual
Cardboard Boat Race Day is always a 'not to be missed' event so mark your
calendar for the scheduled date.
Date:

Picnic:
1pm
Boat Registration: 2pm Boat Races: 3pm
Dog Show: 4pm
Everyone, including the
young and 'not so young', get the opportunity to show off their design
ingenuity, duct taping skills and then the chance to test their vessel's
(not to mention their own) endurance and speed on the race course. The
racing is followed by our members appreciation picnic with a pig roast and
dog fancy dress competition to make the whole day full of fun for the entire family.
Remember! It's never too
soon to start scouring those dumpsters in search of that all elusive
cardboard.
