Greetings all
Many thanks go to
Bruce and Barbi Taylor for not only enduring an early
start to the day, but also for braving the rain to bring their boat over from
HDGYC and take on the duty of race committee for Fall Series Race 3. They did a
great job. Fairly constant winds made it possible to race the complete the set
course (‘Y’) and made for an interesting as well as close race once again.
This race also
incorporated the Charleston Colonial Cup which is awarded to the boat with the
best corrected time overall.
Congratulations to Allan Wilkins’ Tiggerific for taking this honor as
well as winning Series Race 3.
Our next race is
on September 27th and is the final in the Fall Series.
Please note that
the end of series race party will be held after the Inter-fleet Frostbite Race
on October 18th.
Please support the
HDGYC Invitational off Turkey Point on October 4th.
