Greetings All.

 

Fall race number one on August 9th  featured quite a variety of weather: decent air to start, drifting conditions,
and torrential downpours and thunderstorms.

 

We had a great turnout of 20 boats, including two in the new "Unlimited" class: Eel and Silver Star.

 

Unlimited class boats are those that would not otherwise qualify for NERYC fleet racing. The tri Silver Star,
sailing with a PHRF rating of 21, scored a corrected time around the 337 mile course of 1:45:16.
The catboat Eel, sailing with a provisional PHRF rating of 310, scored a corrected time of 1:56:02.
